Nothing has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Nothing Phone (4b), introducing a new (b) series aimed at buyers in the mid-range segment. The latest smartphone retains the company’s signature transparent-inspired design language while offering updated hardware, AI-powered features and a more affordable price tag.

The Nothing Phone (4b) takes design cues from the Phone (4a) Pro and features a unibody polycarbonate rear panel with a UV-coated finish to reduce fingerprints. It comes with a redesigned camera module housing a dual-camera setup, while the signature Glyph interface remains a key highlight, offering visual notifications for charging progress, countdown timers and other live updates. The device also carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.77-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, promising a smooth viewing experience even under bright outdoor conditions.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, coupled with the Adreno 810 GPU and Hexagon NPU. The phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on Nothing OS 4.1, which includes several AI-powered features and the company’s Essential AI tools.

The India variant is backed by a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, aiming to deliver extended battery life for everyday usage.

For photography, the Nothing Phone (4b) features a dual rear camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It also includes the company’s TrueLens Engine 4, which uses AI algorithms to enhance image quality. On the front, the smartphone is equipped with a 16MP selfie camera.

In India, the Nothing Phone (4b) is priced at ₹34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹36,999. Compared to the Nothing Phone (4a), which debuted at ₹38,999, the new (b) series offers a more affordable entry point into the Nothing ecosystem while retaining many of the brand’s signature features and design elements.
