Sugali Preethi’s mother has publicly criticized Pawan Kalyan and has reportedly initiated legal proceedings against him, alleging that promises made to the family were not fulfilled. The issue has since become another flashpoint in the political battle, with YSRCP leaders continuing to raise questions over the Deputy Chief Minister’s role.
Political observers note that these successive controversies have kept Pawan Kalyan on the defensive, while YSRCP has consistently sought to use them to challenge his public image and the credibility of the TDP-Janasena alliance. At the same time, Janasena is under pressure to effectively communicate its position and counter the narrative surrounding these issues as the political contest in Andhra Pradesh continues to intensify.
