Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is said to be placing special focus on the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu, which is celebrated once every 12 years. The government is reportedly planning to organize the event on a massive scale, with extensive arrangements already being discussed.
This time, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is actively involved in the preparations and is personally monitoring several aspects related to the event.
From reviewing preliminary arrangements for the 2027 Pushkaralu to directing officials on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, Pawan Kalyan has been taking a hands-on approach. As the Environment Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he is reportedly treating the responsibility with utmost seriousness.
During recent inspections, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the importance of maintaining water quality in the Godavari River by reducing waste disposal and strengthening cleanup activities. He reportedly instructed concerned departments and officials to ensure hygienic conditions for devotees expected to attend the festival in huge numbers.
With Chandrababu Naidu occupied with multiple administrative responsibilities, Pawan Kalyan’s active involvement on the ground is being seen as a major support for the government’s Pushkaralu preparations.
Political observers believe that the Deputy CM’s direct participation and focus on environmental measures could play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and better-organized Godavari Pushkaralu in 2027.
