Pan-India star Prabhas is currently busy shooting for the much-awaited action entertainer Spirit, directed by sensational filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is progressing at a rapid pace in Hyderabad and has already generated massive expectations across the country.
Following the blockbuster success of films like Arjun Reddy and Animal, audiences and trade circles are closely watching Vanga’s next collaboration with Prabhas. Now, another interesting shooting update has pushed the film back into the spotlight on social media.
According to industry reports, actress Triptii Dimri recently joined the shoot, and several important scenes featuring Prabhas and Triptii were filmed in the Aziz Nagar area of Hyderabad. The next shooting schedule is reportedly set to begin from tomorrow at the famous Koti Women’s College.
Sources say the schedule will feature crucial scenes between the lead pair along with a few intense episodes. Reports also suggest that tight security arrangements have been made around the college premises, while a large shooting setup has already been prepared.
The film is expected to present Prabhas in a powerful police officer role, something director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had hinted at earlier. Compared to the actor’s previous characters, this role is said to be far more rugged, violent, and emotionally intense. Industry buzz suggests that the character has been designed in Vanga’s trademark style with strong emotions and high-voltage action sequences.
The recently released first-look poster received an overwhelming response, with Prabhas’ fierce appearance becoming a major talking point online and further raising expectations on the film.
Another major attraction is Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi playing the antagonist. His recent comments praising Prabhas’ work ethic also grabbed attention. Industry insiders believe the face-off scenes between Prabhas and Vivek Oberoi could become one of the biggest highlights of the film.
Produced jointly by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, the big-budget action drama has music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
The makers have already officially announced that Spirit will hit theatres worldwide on March 5, 2027. With fresh shooting updates emerging regularly, excitement among fans continues to grow, especially to see Prabhas in a massy and violent cop avatar.
