Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has travelled to Mumbai to undergo medical evaluation and treatment for a longstanding shoulder injury. The actor-politician has reportedly been dealing with a rotator cuff injury for some time, with torn muscles in both shoulders requiring specialized medical attention.
Pawan Kalyan arrived in Mumbai on Monday and is expected to undergo detailed examinations at the renowned Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, one of the country’s leading healthcare institutions. Doctors will assess the extent of the injury before deciding on the appropriate course of treatment.
This is the second major medical procedure for the Jana Sena Party chief in recent months. Earlier this year, he underwent nasal surgery in Hyderabad, from which he recovered successfully before resuming his political and administrative responsibilities.
According to reports, the shoulder injuries have been troubling Pawan Kalyan for a considerable period and have affected both shoulders. The current visit is aimed at addressing the issue comprehensively and helping him make a full recovery.
Pawan Kalyan was accompanied by his wife, Anna Lezhneva, during the trip to Mumbai. He is expected to return to Andhra Pradesh after completing his medical consultations and treatment.
The Deputy Chief Minister has maintained a hectic schedule over the past few years, balancing governance, political activities, and public engagements. His supporters are hopeful that the treatment will help him recover fully and resume his duties in better physical condition.
