After receiving a strong response for the first two singles and the promo of the third track Hellallallo, expectations surrounding the full song were naturally quite high.
The makers officially unveiled the song during the grand Peddi Ki Awaaz event held in Bhopal. With a massive crowd in attendance, the event added tremendous energy to the film’s promotions and helped the song grab instant attention.
Now that Hellallallo has been released digitally, the track appears to be a proper mass special number packed with commercial appeal. Following the style of his mentor Sukumar, director Buchi Babu Sana seems to have crafted the song as a key high-energy moment in Peddi.
In an interesting shift from his usual soulful and experimental style, A. R. Rahman dives completely into a rural mass zone with this track. The energetic beats and catchy rhythm give the song strong potential to connect with the masses.
Lyricist Anantha Sriram enhances the track further with earthy expressions and punchy lyrics, while singer Rakshita Suresh adds impressive energy through her husky and powerful vocals.
Shot on a lavish set, the song also delivers a vibrant visual experience featuring Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan and Janhvi Kapoor sharing screen space together.
Ram Charan stands out with his energetic dance performance, sharp footwork and commanding screen presence, giving the song the required mass impact. Shruti Haasan and Janhvi Kapoor add glamour and elegance, complementing the choreography effectively.
Overall, Hellallallo seems to have all the ingredients needed for a crowd-pleasing special song. With its energetic beats, colourful visuals and Ram Charan’s electrifying presence, the number has the potential to generate a strong response in theatres.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi is scheduled to release on June 4, with premieres planned for June 3.
