Prabhas-starrer Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is gearing up for its next big promotional update, with the teaser already locked and an official release date expected to be announced soon.
The makers are reportedly eyeing a December theatrical release, making the current timeline crucial for the film’s overall business strategy.
Industry sources suggest that Fauzi is in a “must-release this year” situation. If the film doesn’t reach theatres before the end of the calendar year, its streaming agreement with Netflix could reportedly face complications.
The digital rights are said to have been acquired by the platform for a substantial amount, with a fixed release window that needs to be followed.
As a result, the production team is working on a tight schedule to ensure there are no further delays.
With the deadline approaching, much of the responsibility now lies with director Hanu Raghavapudi and his team to complete the remaining post-production work on time.
The film is being jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, along with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films.
