That the TRS and CM KCR are not happy with the way things are going on at the ashram, He is said to be upset with China Jeeyar Swami showering praises on Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh. In fact, Jeeyar has liked Modi with Lord Ram and compared his rule with Ram Rajya.
The bigger embarrassment for KCR was that jeeyar’s statement came at a time when he began attacking Modi. As a result, the pro-KCR media have greatly reduced the coverage of the celebrations in the Muchintal ashram. Initially enthusiastic coverage has now given way to minimal coverage.
In fact, when vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu visited the ashramam, the pro-TRS newspaper has given only a single column without a photograph. Similarly, the visit of Rajnath Singh too was downplayed. Initially, the newspaper had published several special stories on a regular basis. Now the coverage has simply tapered off. Political watchers say that the reduced coverage in the pro-TRS newspaper is reflective of KCR’s estrangement with Jeeyar Swami.
