The film industry is one of the most unpredictable professions, where success can transform an actor’s career overnight. A single blockbuster can bring immense popularity, soaring demand, and a significant jump in remuneration. But this success often lasts only as long as the audience’s fascination.
A recent example is Revanth, the talented child artist who won hearts as Bulli Raju in Sankranthiki Vasthunam. According to industry sources, he is currently charging around Rs 1 lakh per day for shoots. Some reports even suggest that his family initially quotes Rs 1.5 lakh per day, though the final remuneration is usually negotiated depending on the project’s scale and the number of shooting days.
Even at Rs 1 lakh per day, the fee reflects the tremendous demand Revanth enjoys following the film’s success. Producers are keen to capitalize on his popularity while his character remains fresh in the minds of audiences.
However, the history of Telugu cinema shows that child stardom can be short-lived. As child actors grow older, suitable roles often become scarce, making it difficult to sustain the same level of success.
Master Bharath is a classic example. He was once among the most sought-after child artists, delivering memorable performances in hit films like Ready and King. But after outgrowing child roles, his career gradually lost momentum, illustrating how quickly fortunes can change in the film industry.
For now, Revanth is enjoying the spotlight and the rewards that come with it. Whether he can successfully transition into adult roles in the future remains to be seen, but his current popularity is undoubtedly at its peak.
