Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has once again sparked conversation on social media after sharing a new post on Instagram that appeared to showcase her baby bump.
On Tuesday, Samantha posted a photo on her Instagram Stories taken from a top angle. In the image, her stomach is partially covered with a large pillow, while the accompanying caption read, “My six pack. I’ll see you when I see you.” The playful post quickly caught the attention of fans.
The latest update comes after Samantha recently confirmed that she and her husband, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, are expecting their first child together.
Speaking during the success meet of her latest film, Maa Inti Bangaaram, the actress revealed that she plans to take a break from films after completing her current commitments.
“After Maa Inti Bangaaram, I will have to take a small break, given my condition. I’ll have to take maternity leave. After that, I’ll be back with another film for my fans,” Samantha said during the event.
Rumours about her pregnancy had been circulating for some time, especially after her appearance at the success celebrations of Maa Inti Bangaaram. Fans speculated after noticing what appeared to be a baby bump while she was dressed in a fitted white bodycon top paired with blue denim.
According to reports, Samantha and Raj are expected to welcome their first child later this year, although the couple has not publicly disclosed a due date.
Samantha and Raj, one-half of the filmmaker duo Raj & DK, got married in December last year. The two are believed to have first met while working on the acclaimed web series The Family Man Season 2, in which Samantha delivered a widely appreciated performance.
This marks Samantha’s second marriage. She was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple married in 2017 before announcing their separation in 2021.
