Actress Trisha Krishnan has publicly expressed her disappointment with global fashion retailer Zara after claiming that she received clothes with an unpleasant body odour through home delivery for the third consecutive time.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Trisha tagged Zara’s official account as well as its customer care handle, urging the brand to improve its quality checks before dispatching online orders.
“Errrr dear @zara @zaracare Just a humble request. Pls make sure your clothes don’t reek of body odour (not even mild) the next time we’re placing home deliveries. 3rd time in a row. And pretty darn disgusting. Smell it before you pack it atleast,” she wrote.
While the actress did not reveal which product she had ordered or speculate on why it smelled that way, her post reflected her frustration after what she described as repeated unpleasant experiences with the brand’s home deliveries.
Earlier on the same day, Trisha also shared a personal post about perimenopause on Instagram. Reposting a message that humorously described the phase as the time when “people-pleasing hormones fade away and IDGAF hormones take over,” she added a “fact” sticker, indicating her agreement with the sentiment. The post drew attention, as conversations around ageing and perimenopause are still relatively uncommon among leading actresses in Indian cinema.
Professionally, Trisha continues to enjoy a successful phase in her career. Her latest release, Karuppu, starring Suriya and directed by RJ Balaji, received mixed reviews but reportedly went on to become a major commercial success, crossing the ₹300-crore mark worldwide. The film further strengthened her impressive run following the success of projects like Ponniyin Selvan and Leo.
Off-screen, Trisha has frequently been in the spotlight over her long association with actor Vijay. Their public appearances together have often fueled speculation on social media. However, this time, it was neither a film nor personal rumours that grabbed attention, but her candid message to Zara, calling on the fashion brand to ensure better quality checks before delivering products to customers.
