Apple has officially announced the dates and full schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, WWDC 2026. The five-day developer event will take place from June 8 to June 12, 2026, bringing together developers, designers, and students from around the world to explore Apple’s latest technologies, software platforms, and developer tools.

The Cupertino-based tech giant revealed that more than 1,000 developers, designers, and students have been invited to attend the event at Apple Park. Alongside in-person experiences, the sessions will also be available online for global audiences.

Apple’s highly anticipated WWDC 2026 keynote is scheduled for June 8 at 10 a.m. PDT, which translates to 10:30 PM IST. During the keynote, Apple is expected to unveil major updates across its software ecosystem, including new AI features, platform upgrades, and developer-focused technologies.

This year’s WWDC tagline, “Coming bright up,” along with the glowing visual design in Apple’s invitation, has already sparked speculation about major advancements in Siri and Apple’s broader artificial intelligence strategy.

The keynote presentation will be streamed live on Apple India, the Apple TV app, and Apple’s official YouTube channel. The event is also expected to hold emotional significance, as reports suggest it could be Tim Cook’s final WWDC keynote as Apple CEO before leadership reportedly transitions to John Ternus later this year.

Following the keynote, Apple will host its annual Platforms State of the Union session, where the company is expected to introduce new APIs, developer tools, and platform capabilities. The session will be available through the Apple Developer app, Apple’s developer website, YouTube, and bilibili.

Throughout the five-day conference, Apple will conduct technical video sessions, Group Labs, design workshops, the Apple Design Awards, and the Swift Student Challenge aimed at supporting upcoming developers and creators.

One of the biggest highlights expected at WWDC 2026 is the introduction of iOS 27. Reports suggest Apple may further refine its Liquid Glass interface while introducing several new Apple Intelligence features powered by AI. The company is also expected to announce upgrades across core apps and services on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch devices.

Another major talking point is Apple’s reported AI collaboration with Google. Industry reports indicate Apple could integrate the Google Gemini AI model into Siri, potentially making the voice assistant more conversational, context-aware, and intelligent. Apple may also introduce a standalone Siri app that offers a chatbot-style AI experience similar to modern generative AI assistants.

With AI expected to dominate this year’s announcements, WWDC 2026 could become one of Apple’s most important developer conferences in recent years.
