Megastar Chiranjeevi’s intervention has reportedly helped resolve the ongoing issue surrounding the release of Peddi in Telangana. Following discussions with exhibitors, the film is now set to continue under the existing rental system, bringing temporary relief to the makers and distributors.
According to industry reports, exhibitors have decided to keep the proposed percentage-sharing model on hold until June 30, allowing Peddi to proceed without any immediate disruptions. The decision is said to have come after Chiranjeevi stepped in and played a key role in facilitating discussions between the concerned parties.
The development has brought clarity to the film’s release situation in Telangana and is being viewed as a positive move for the industry amid ongoing debates over theatrical revenue-sharing systems.
