Reliance’s media and entertainment arm, JioStar, has unveiled JioStar GenAI Media Studio (JAMS), an AI-powered content creation platform designed to revolutionize the way stories, videos, audio, and visual content are produced in India. The announcement was made in conjunction with key developments presented at Reliance’s 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The new platform brings together multiple generative AI tools into a unified workflow, enabling creators and production teams to streamline the entire content creation process. By eliminating traditional production bottlenecks, JAMS aims to help creators deliver premium-quality content faster and at scale for both Indian and global audiences.

Addressing shareholders, Akash Ambani described JAMS as an end-to-end AI-native content production platform that covers every stage of the creative journey—from ideation and script development to image generation, audio production, video creation, and final publishing.

“JAMS integrates generative AI tools into a single workflow, reducing production costs and timelines while allowing creators to focus more on storytelling and creativity,” Akash Ambani said.

The launch is aimed at strengthening India’s rapidly expanding Orange Economy, a sector where economic value is driven by creativity, knowledge, ideas, and intellectual property rather than traditional manufacturing.

The creative economy encompasses industries such as films, music, gaming, animation, fashion, design, digital content, advertising, publishing, and the software platforms that empower creators to produce and distribute their work. By combining technology with artistic expression, the sector generates both economic and social value.

With JAMS, JioStar is positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven content production, potentially reshaping India’s creative landscape and opening up new opportunities for content creators across industries.
