Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan displayed a firm and aggressive approach during his inspection of the Godavari Pushkaralu arrangements, where he reviewed preparations well ahead of the event.
During the inspection, Pawan Kalyan reportedly expressed strong concern over the improper waste disposal into the Godavari River. He warned that if devotees are allowed to take a holy dip in polluted water, it could lead to serious health issues instead of spiritual benefits.
In a rare and direct moment, he is said to have reprimanded cabinet minister Kandula Durgesh over the issue, questioning the lack of proper arrangements on the ground. The Deputy CM stressed that such negligence should not happen and insisted that officials must treat the matter with utmost seriousness.
He further stated that if certain issues cannot be resolved at the ministerial level, they must be escalated to the Chief Minister’s attention immediately. Pawan Kalyan also pulled up officials during the inspection, emphasizing that public health and environmental concerns should not be ignored under any circumstances.
His strong remarks and assertive tone during the review meeting have now become a major talking point, highlighting his strict stance on governance and public welfare during the Godavari Pushkaralu preparations.
