Before entering the film industry, many actors carry very different ambitions—and R. Madhavan is a perfect example. From a young age, Madhavan aspired to join the Indian Army and serve the nation. In the film, he portrays the role of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, embodying a powerful mentor who shapes a fearless spy dedicated to protecting the nation. His performance as a strategist and “kingmaker” received strong appreciation for its intensity and authenticity.

More than just a cinematic experience, Dhurandhar draws inspiration from real-life events and presents a gripping look at intelligence operations, particularly those dealing with cross-border terrorism. The film showcases how a well-structured spy network can counter threats and outsmart enemy strategies.
