Motorola has expanded its Edge series in India with the launch of the Edge 70 Pro+, introducing a premium Satin-Luxe variant with a unique wood finish and Twill-inspired Pantone colour options. The smartphone focuses on a blend of design, performance, and AI-driven features, targeting users in the mid-premium segment with a price point around ₹50,000.

The device features an ultra-slim 6.99mm quad-curved design and weighs about 190 grams. Despite its sleek build, it comes with IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H durability certification, making it both stylish and sturdy. It sports a 6.8-inch Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and Pantone validation for accurate colours and skin tones.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Motorola claims significant gains in graphics and AI performance, while a large vapour chamber cooling system ensures better thermal management during heavy usage and gaming.

In the camera department, the Edge 70 Pro+ comes equipped with a quad 50MP setup, including a Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor, an ultra-wide + macro lens, a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, and a Super Zoom Pro system supporting up to 50x zoom. It also includes several AI-based features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Magic Editor, Reimagine, Auto Frame, HDR enhancements, and portrait optimization tools.

The smartphone is backed by a massive 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support, aiming to deliver long-lasting usage with quick top-ups.

In India, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is priced at ₹47,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, with an effective price of ₹44,999 after bank offers. It will go on sale from June 11, 2026, via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and offline retail stores.
